Alpha Marine has an inbuilt offshore survey competency which spans over two decades.  If you have a hydrographic or geophysical survey requirement then Alpha Marine can provide the answer. Our inshore vessels are equipped for multibeam bathymetry, side scan sonar, sub bottom and magnetometer surveys. We specialize in hydrographic and geophysical surveys for offshore renewable energy developments.  For environmental surveys our vessels can deploy all manner of grabs and trawls.  We have a range of benthic grabs, trawls and dredges in house.

Because we operate our own fleet of vessels, we provide a reliable, turnkey solution with all operations controlled under one roof.  Since 2019 Alpha Marine has conducted a number of major geophysical surveys for Irish Sea offshore windfarm developments in recent years. We have access to our sister company Irish Mainport's ships and technical expertise aswell as a wide network of ship partners.  This allows us to be flexible to meet changing client requirements.
